Luis Martínez 

Yo nací en Puebla, México, y pasé mis primeros años allá con mis ocho hermanos. Viviendo ahora todo el año en Saratoga, extraño estar con ellos, especialmente en los momentos en que me necesitan más. Sueño con comprar una casa aquí e invitarles a venir a visitarme. 

Vine aquí hace 5 años después de aceptar una oferta de trabajo. Quería hacer un cambio en mi vida y ver otros lugares. Trabajo como asistente personal para una familia local, pero mi pasatiempo favorito es ayudar a otros latinos, especialmente en las granjas lecheras. 

Me encanta cocinar y viajar. Me gusta visitar nuevos lugares y países, pero mi lugar favorito del mundo, obviamente, es México.

I was born in Puebla, Mexico and spent my early years there with my eight siblings. Living now year round in Saratoga, I miss being with them especially in the moments when they need me most. I dream of buying a house here and inviting them to come visit me.

I came here five years ago after accepting a job offer. I wanted to make a total change in my life and to see other places. I work as a personal assistant for a local family, but  my favorite pastime is helping other Latinos, especially on the dairy farms. 

I love to cook and travel. I enjoy visiting new places and countries, but my favorite place in the world is, of course, Mexico.
